Strathmore Minor Hockey Members,
Strathmore Minor Hockey has decided to terminate the U18 amalgamation project with Indus
for the 26/27 season. SMH determined the practice schedule and the increased travel was not
acceptable for our athletes. I would like to personally apologize for the poor timing, but it was a
necessary step to provide our players with safe and enjoyable hockey this year.
The regional U16 pilot project is still a go and will be hosted by SMH this season. Our members
will register as they normally would and the first-year players will be contacted to determine if
they will be trying out for the U16 team.
I would like to thank the membership for their feedback. Please contact me with any questions
or concerns.
